Son of Former Prime Minister Mohsin Al-Ainy Assaulted at His Home

By: Hassan Al-Haifi

The son of former Prime Minister of Yemen, Mohsin Al-Aini, was attacked by security thugs in his apartment in Sana'a for participating in the protests against the fossil regime of Ali Abdulla Saleh. The thugs beat Tareq (around 40 years old), stabbed him and shot at his hands and legs, causing stab wounds, and at least two bullet wounds. This is the democracy of Ali Abdullah Saleh.

Tareq is only practicing his constitutional rights of assembly and free expression of opinion by camping out with the protesters in "Change Square".
